Certification Schemes
The group has a wealth of specialist certification scheme services. HETAS provides certification for people and products operating in the solid fuel and biomass sector, with Woodsure, as the UK’s only woodfuel quality assurance scheme specialising in certification of fuels.
Contract Management
Cleaner Safer Group can manage contracted works for government departments. Currently, the group administers several schemes including the Ready to Burn certification for manufactured solid fuel and wood, the Biomass Suppliers List and smoke control exemption for appliances and fuels.
Training
Through our brands Cleaner Safer Group can provide a range of solution based training. HETAS approves a network of 15 training centre across the UK as well as a dedicated online learning platform. Bespoke training can also be developed for various sectors, including Local Authorities, Trading Standards and private businesses.
Testing Facilities
Through its dedicated testing facility, based in Gloucestershire, Cleaner Safer Group can offer a range of testing for wood fuel through our UKAS accredited lab. Services include independent testing for firewood, wood chip, briquettes and pellets.
